Model 427: WIRELESS SOLUTIONS FOR THE WEIGHING INDUSTRY
INDUSTRIAL COMMERCIAL SCALES, L.L.C. announces the release of the only True Loadcell Transceiver System. Developed with a need for wireless communication where conventional hard wiring proves inefficient and expensive, I.C.S. has addressed and solved several key areas that have impeded wireless applications in the past.
I.C.S.’S Transmitter-Receiver is compatible with ANY INDICATOR having a 10VDC excitation. Transmitting and receiving the standard loadcell mV/V output signal, it is the only device which essentially replaces the load cell cable and eliminates the expensive wireless computer/RS232 modem which requires an indicator at both ends with RS232 output and input interpreters. The Model 427 can be incorporated into your existing product line to enhance its capabilities and standardize applications.
The Model 427 requires no special programming or setup. It. is a “plug and play” device, as simple to install as a junction box utilizing the standard load cell and indicator wiring configuration.
DESIGNED FOR INTERNAL OR EXTENAL USE: I.C.S. has a transmission range of 290’+ and is constructed to industrial standards utilizing NEMA 4 IP65 enclosures with an operating temperature of -40°C to +85°C making it ideal for external use for mobile cranes and aggregate conveyors or internal use for crane scales, floor scales, truck scales, batching systems and factory automation.
MULTIPLE LOAD CELL CAPABILITY: The Model 427 is capable of powering up to 16 load cells making it effectively possible to transmit signals from platforms such as portable truck scales & specialty applications like silos and tanks.
SUPERIOR ELECTRONICS: Incorporating a 24 bit AD-DA converter generating 1:1,000,000 internal resolution The Model 427 matches the most powerful process controllers on the market.
FEXIBLE POWER: I.C.S. is available in two power configurations. Standard 110VAC or DC with internal battery. With 120 hours of continuous battery life before recharge or 200+ hours battery life with sleep mode. The Model 427 is adaptable for any application.
